A few years ago, I went to Mexico with family. On the drive back from Zacatecas, we hit a dog somewhere on the highway in Chihuahua in the middle of the desert. It was kinda scary. The splash guard on the truck fell off. After we got going, my younger cousin requested watching All Dogs Go To Heaven on the portable DVD player. Fitting, I guess.

Also, these dogs don’t look like the dogs on Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Hmmm. Hollywood never gets it wrong.

About two years ago, flights to Guatemala were dirt cheap. Well, two of my coworkers went and a few months later, I decided to go with my primo because of all the great things I heard about Guatemala.

Well, my coworkers ran into a man that paid something like $9 each way on spirit airlines. He had already been there before, but since the flight was dirt cheap, he went with one cause – to feed the dogs. My coworkers went up to this gringo and asked him what he was doing – so he told them:

I got a dirty cheap flight here and decided to travel with few clothes and some bags of dog food. So his ministry on that trip was to feed the dogs.

I really enjoyed all the photos you took except for the dog with the infected leg: I kinda feel sad now. These photos remind me of my first trip to Mexico when I was 5 years old and I was determined to get a huge bus and rescue all the stray dogs. Not only was I gonna give them baths and medical care but they were going to to live with me.

Haha, yeah i missed the roof dogs. I tried to take a pic of at least two but they move around to fast.
