Recent Burnings

Either by accident or intent, things burn. Here are two recent findings that have succumbed to flames. The first, a plastic shopping cart from some faraway Target shopping store has been afflicted by heat and its left side has given way. If you get this cart at your next visit you might want to stick to larger purchases, like coffee machines and pillows. Smaller items will likely escape this ambulatory plastic cell.

I’d suggest you park your burning auto outside of the garage, even if you can’t find a nearby parking space. Rebuilding your charred garage is more work than it’s worth.

I wish I had some burnt up Xmas trees to report, but the recycling gang has been terrorizing the neighborhood with their Green denouncements, thus very few xmas trees made it back onto the street. What a shame.

I like how the car is burnt, and now rusting. Some one declare that contemporary art and make some money off of it. Quick! Write a statement!

“Ummm, well, I was on my way to work today, and uhhh, there was this building that was on fire, so I ran inside to save a burning baby, I ran up about five or six steps and when I came out I had burning baby all over me, and that’s what happened to my shopping cart, I’m serious.” – Cheech Martin

I love how that burned up car has been sitting in that garage for months now.

Personally, I’m regretting not documenting the slow destruction of the RV on Barranca. Last week I saw two guys starting to strip it on my way to work in the morning. Apparently they have been coming back day after day to get more.

its crazy how the city doesnt do anything about the car or the garage. You would think that the city would ask the owners to clean up. If im not mistaking, those garages support the houses above them, right?
