I blame work for forcing me to spend more time in a car. Employment kills the time for random walks, eliminates unforeseen encounters with the unexpected. Still, I like to take pictures around LH. Here are a few from within my Personal Armored Space.<\/p>\n

This image might not seem like much to you, but it’s one of the saddest I’ve taken lately. I parked my car by the 99 cent when a little girl asked me something, I didn’t quite understand what she was saying. After an “excuse me?” and some close listening, it turns out I just wasn’t ready to hear what she was saying: “can I clean your headlights?” A few seconds of confusion and then an Oh. This girl, probably on Xmas break, was hanging out in a parking lot trying to make a dollar or two by cleaning the lights on cars. That’s the family over by the white car. This on a day when I had to deal with some real brats, of the truly privileged variety. There are some fundamental injustices in this society.<\/p>\n

A walk by, and I spot the skinny, no belt, Asian man that shuffles around LH holding up his pants. He’s been doing this for years.<\/p>\n

Yes, it’s all bogus.<\/p>\n

\"rdby04\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Traffic completely stopped on the 10 interchange on Xmas eve.<\/p>\n

\"rdby05\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Something about compelling people into a bus.<\/p>\n

\"rdby06\"<\/a><\/p>\n

“Would you like to save your soul with that pair of Dickies?” When did the 5 points get religious? That’s a display of Chick religious tract<\/a>s next to the sinful LA Weekly.<\/p>\n

The guy from the office<\/a> must have put this sign up, even though he’s rarely at his place anymore. It reads “GRASIAS. A DIOS PORQUE. ME. AMAS DE UN DESAMPARADO PERO NO DE TI PADRE NUESTRO MIO Y DIOS MIO”<\/p>\n

\"rdby07\"<\/a><\/p>\n

You can’t read it, but the note sez “Please No Where to Park Merry Christmas!” Guilt tripping their way out of a ticket. Or trying, cuz those ticket people have no hearts.<\/p>\n

Elotero being brave by setting up in front of the Big Saver. They’ll chase him away to the edge of the parking lot soon.<\/p>\n

A decorative U-haul truck. Oh, someone’s gonna have some explaining to do.<\/p>\n

That is some crazy looking scribbling. Nicer than plain cinderblocks that’s for sure.<\/p>\n
