LH residents may have noticed that our local Post Office has been undergoing some remodeling, and though they opened the new place a few months ago, I think the process is finally done. Spotted today was this flower box on the front window, acting as the bowtie to let you know that indeed, the gift they’ve bestowed upon us is complete. While the flowers are fakes, I’m sure the sentiment is real!

Que Buscas?
Hey… I’m glad someone noticed the flowers… My mom put those up there but the post office took them down because they were worried someone would run into them.
We try and do a lot around here and wish others would too!
Give my thanks to your mom, I thought the flower box looked quite nice! Its a crazy world where such a simple act of beauty gets taken down by the possibility that “someone would run into” it, what a terrible new reality in which we have to exist. Did you hear they banned playing Tag at an elementary school in Boston? Pretty much for the same reason, that someone might get hurt. Que poca madre…
