Yet more proof that Capitalism doesn’t supply our needs but instead creates false wants, this time in the form of completely unnecessary and apparently also useless potato peeling gloves. Cuz that trusty $2 peeler you’ve been using for the last 5 years isn’t going to cut it anymore, being such an old technology and all. How could you not want to peel potatoes with gravel-lined gloves under a steady stream of water? It’s so Fast & Easy to use! Did I mention you have to boil the potatoes first to get them ready for the peeling? Ha, ha, this is chumptastic! And at only $15 a pair at the local Rite-Aid, I suggest you get your pair before they sell out. You better run.

Chumptastic, for sure! And kinda of disgusting too! Those gloves are out of a horror movie!
Another worthless unitasker – when I peel potatoes (which is rarely – the peel is the best part!), I just use my knife – why bother cleaning/storing/losing another novelty.
This is why I hate listening to middle class American’s whine about the economy – I mean, how bad is it really when you’re going out and buying junk like this all day? If you own shit like this, any economic problems you’re having are likely your own doing.
Ladies, a new way to remove the hair from your legs! OUCH
The funny thing is, once you boil a potato you can easily peel the skin from it with just your hand. It slips right off. Geez!
Hey, it comes with the papitas fritas slicer!
Actually, I was washing a potato the other day as I, too, eat the peel and, since it had some glops of dirt, I used the abrasive side of my kitchen sink sponge to get all the dirt off. Interestingly it also rubbed the peel off! So I guess you could use your sponge!
Whoever nicks and cuts themselves using a pelapapas is probably dumb enough to buy these gloves.
chimatli is right, once u boil them the skin comes right off with no effort. i still want those gloves to scratch my back.
i think i’ll buy them but not for las papas
for my next street brawl, oh its on!
They will prob end up on the shelves of the 99 cent store in about 6 months then maybe I will buy them lmao!
