When is a yard sale not a yard sale? When there’s no yard? When it’s indoors? It is curious that a storefront with many booths inside (aka indoor swapmeet) would start using the term yard sale for their method of selling consumer goods. Maybe its because in Lincoln Heights the daily yard sale reigns supreme, for both those looking to score some deals and those hoping to unload some stuff while they make some cash.
It’s Big.
Just teasing us to go in, with those bikes and sign for computer repair.
What the? They also call it an indoor swap meet. There goes my 2 minute theory.
I bought a used phone charger for 2 bucks. It worked. Now where do I cash in my carbon credits?
wow! 2 bucks? was that por semana or por mes?
I saw that new swap meet a couple of weeks ago when walking the pups. Didn’t go in. In the past 2 months or so, permanent swap meets have become all the rage in LHs between this one and the one on Ave 26 (which is now gone I’m assuming due to the rain).
I thought there were big gentrification plans for the poop building but I guess not!
I went in there the other day and they had really good and cheap prices on the bicycles. Out of 20 vendor spots available, they were only using 3 or 4, it was kind of sad.
I had some friends clean out their closets and have a garage-less garage sale in their living room. They organized the place like a little boutique. Too bad none of their clothes or shoes would fit me.
I want to have a garage sale for a lot of the clothes that no longer fits me. I’d give it away to goodwill or send it to Tijuana with my grandparents, but I could use the extra feria.
I want to go in and check it out..but i haven’t been around. My friend said her mom rented a space..I’m not sure for how much. This sucks though, they had the paint gallery there! But I guess those kids themselves couldn’t keep up with the payments..I wonder if it’s still called Kasil? (even if it doesn’t look like one) =p
man that tape job on that poster is simply horrible!!! lol
