A Few Days Before Xmas…

recycle1

…while the  shopping malls were overflowing with new junk as both the normal and “green” consumers did their bit to sustain an unsustainable economy, the volunteers for the LH Carbon Credit Reclamation Project were taking care of last years new junk, now known as plain old junk. Because of their concern for this fragile eco-system of ours, they willingly rummage through your detritus to reclaim some use of that product you so thoughtlessly discarded. And yes, if they get offered a bit of payment for those efforts, they will not deny your attempts at charity. But don’t be confused, they don’t need your guilt money, they only do it because it pays to be Green.

What bothers you the most, turbo? The bug up your ass or the chip on your shoulder? So life is passing you by, and you’ve got nothing better to do than troll around with your little instamatic, taking pictures of the sad detritus around what you think is your neighborhood. Your sarcasm is thin cover for your self-loathing, my friend.

Joseph comment makes no sense but whatever.
Hilarious post, thanks El Chavo! Nice use of Xray Spex!

may we put these green warriors out of work some day. we don’t dislike them or wish harm upon them, but hope their suppliers’ see their wallets following their souls into bankruptcy.

You can see those newer apartment buildings behind the guys going through the dumpster. Talk about a photo that captures modern day urban America. Thanks again, El Chavo.

It would be cool to have greensumer show cover Lincoln Heights and Highland Park’s bustling recycled everything markets.

One thing that pisses me off about “recycling” cans and bottles – it’s a state subsidy of these god damned drink companies to keep doing what they’re doing.

Jajaja, there you go Chavo, Joseph said it right, pa que te calles!!!
I also hate the trees left on the sidewalk, I cant believe that ppl do that. Just today a co worker was asking another co worker if he would borrow his truck to get rid of his tree and someone else suggested to just take it out to the sidewalk, how fucking lame is that?
