On the same Saturday that I got to check out the fancy Huntington for an “archives bazaar“…
…and got to mingle with cebollitas, talk about history archives, and find out about some interesting museums…
…I also managed to make it to the very D.I.Y Chuco’s Justice Center for a benefit show, got to talk to some young Chicano punks, and find out about work being done to fight the Prison Industrial Complex.
There’s no point to this post, it just made me remember the endless variety of scenes and things to do in Los Angeles. I really like my hometown.
