R.I.P. Toothy (?-2008)

Sad new to report to the LH community: our old friend Toothy is gone. That manly molar who made us all turn and giggle as we walked or drove by has been erased from this world, a victim of one too many walk-by scribbles by the baby taggers. The dental shop did their best to keep Toothy alive, carefully painting over the tags that would show up on his white enamel skin, but I guess the increased foot traffic to and from the Airliner club might have led to his demise. (Uhh, didn’t they also have something to do with our now missing Town Clock as well?) As the dicho goes, “Life’s Short, Play Hard”. So long Toothy, you will be missed.

Just look at all those disrespectful tags. If you know any of these fools, tell them they suck. I bet you if someone started a website that wasn’t anti-tagger, just anti-stupid-tagger, and posted images and lists of the worst offenders, ranking the shittiest taggers and calling them out for being disrespectful, there would be much less inappropriate abuse of the landscape. I hope someone in the tagging world gives it a go.

Look at Toothy go, all healthy and almost dancing, back in the good old days. He avoided being a Yuck Mouth and even refused to listen to the Sugar Hill Gang for fear of cavities. A life full of promise, cut short by random marker violence.
