All tamales require a salsa to make them whole. This here is my simple green sauce, a red one is coming sometime soon. Yes, I think I’m on track to actually finish this series very soon!

This is an early Christmas present, except without the bow. THANK YOU!
How funny, my captcha word is ‘inutil’, LOL!
Hi! Found you through a video you poste on Leslie’s blog, The Mija Chronicles. I really like your blog and will add it to my list of culinary blogs. Love your cooking videos!
OMG, I luv tamales de rajas con queso…sauce has always been the mystery. thanks so much. Dunno about masa from scratch tho, not realistico.
This seems like a good base for use with other dishes…please enlighten us. I’m thinking just to spoon onto your huevitos or something. Seems similar, but let us know of any differences please.
I have been searching online for a vegetarian masa recipe and found your recipes. Years ago my friend and I endeavored to make tamales and, while it was alot of work, it was SO worth it! I am taking it on again, by myself, but wanted to review a few recipes since it’s been awhile. Your recipes look amazing and like the real deal. I will thoroughly enjoy this and will let you know how it goes! Thanks for the great pics and the wonderful recipes!!!
Fantastico, superb and wonderful photographs along with well written documentation. Way to go El Chavo! Many thanks for sharing your culinary expertise with all your friends who live in this wonderful electronic box. Happy New Year 2014 to you and your loved ones!
